Movie Draft is a free, 13+ browser entertainment game. Its ₹ budgets are fictional game amounts. There are no entry fees, wagers, cash prizes, or official winners.
Effective: 8 October 2026 · Operator name: Movie Draft
01 / Game guide
How to Play
The aim
Choose one actor or actress, then bid on films from that star's catalog to build a lineup you like. The game shows a film poster and title for each auction. Players decide for themselves which final lineup is best; Movie Draft does not calculate an official winner.
Choose a mode
Play online: The host creates a room for 2–5 players, chooses the star and settings, and shares its link or code. Guests enter a display name and join. The lobby shows who is connected. The host may start when everyone is present; the game can also start automatically shortly after the room fills.
Local two-player: Two people use the controls on one device.
Versus AI: One person plays against the computer opponent.
Settings
Each player starts with the same fictional budget from ₹20 to ₹100, in ₹10 steps (₹20 by default). Each player drafts 5, 6, or 7 films (5 by default). The host or local players can choose a film order where the catalog supports it. Film order may be shuffled, and films can reappear later when more auctions are needed.
Bidding
The opening bid on a film is ₹1. Players can raise the displayed bid by ₹1 or use the +₹2 control, within their remaining game budget.
A player cannot bid when their lineup is full or when the current film is ineligible for that player. A player cannot outbid their own leading bid.
Teesko! Pass withdraws a player from that film's auction. In online play, a player who passes cannot bid again on that film.
In an online room, when nobody else is eligible and able to raise the high bid, the high bidder gets the film for that amount. Some uncontested films can be claimed for ₹0. If nobody bids, a film can be skipped.
The online host can skip a film. A film may appear again in a later auction. It can be drafted by different players; repeats within one player's lineup are normally prevented unless the star's whole catalog has fewer films than the selected lineup size.
The local two-player and AI controls resolve passes slightly differently from online rooms. The on-screen controls and messages govern the current round.
Finish and share
The draft ends when every player has filled their lineup. The result shows each lineup, amounts spent and game budget left. You can create a result image, download it, or use your device's share menu. If you post it to Instagram and ask friends to comment on the best lineup, that discussion takes place on Instagram, outside Movie Draft. There is no in-game vote, ranking, prize or official result.
02 / Agreement
Terms of Use
These Terms apply when you use the Movie Draft website and game (the “Service”). “Movie Draft,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator temporarily identified as Movie Draft. Questions can be sent to MovieDraft@gmail.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Who can use it
The Service is intended for people aged 13 or older. If you are under 18, use it only with the involvement or permission of a parent or guardian where applicable law requires it. We do not currently verify age or parental permission. Do not use the Service if you are under 13 or if use would violate a law that applies to you.
Free entertainment; no real money
The ₹ symbol represents fictional bidding units inside the game. These units are not money, property, stored value or a payment balance. You cannot deposit, buy, withdraw, transfer, redeem or exchange them for money, goods or services. There are no entry fees, wagers, cash prizes or monetary rewards. Movie Draft does not determine an official winner; opinions about lineups are subjective.
Playing and online rooms
You may play locally, against the AI, or in an online room. The room creator is the host and controls the shared draft. Online rooms depend on the host's browser and network connection; they are not permanent saved games. Closing or reloading the host tab can end a room. Guests may be able to reconnect to their places after an interruption, but reconnection is not guaranteed. Device, browser, network and third-party service problems can delay or stop play. Catalogs, settings and rules may change, and film availability or lineup uniqueness is not guaranteed beyond the behavior shown in the game at the time.
Display names and conduct
You may enter a display name of up to 30 characters. Other people in your room can see it, and it may appear on a shareable result image. Do not use another person's name deceptively, include sensitive information, harass others, infringe anyone's rights, or use the Service unlawfully. You are responsible for what you share outside Movie Draft. We may restrict access or remove inappropriate content or features when reasonably necessary.
AI, reactions and outside voting
The AI opponent makes automated game decisions. Quick reactions are short in-game expressions; the Teesko! reaction is separate from the Teesko! Pass bidding control. Movie Draft has no general chat or in-game comment system. Instagram posts, comments and any informal voting are controlled by the person posting and by Instagram, not by Movie Draft. We do not receive or count Instagram comments or decide a winner from them.
Film material and our material
The Service refers to films and performers and may display third-party posters or images. Film titles, posters, photographs, names, likenesses and production-company marks remain with their respective rights holders. Movie Draft's own code, branding, interface and original content remain with Movie Draft or their respective licensors. Use of film material in the game does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or an official partnership with any performer, studio, distributor or rights holder. See the Rights Notice for a contact route.
Sponsored content and external services
Some placements are marked Sponsored and may lead to an advertiser's website. Advertising does not turn the fictional bidding budget into real money. An external link is provided for convenience and does not automatically mean Movie Draft endorses the destination. External services, including Instagram, operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability, changes and responsibility
We may update, pause or discontinue features, catalogs, ads or the Service. We aim to provide a usable game but cannot promise uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy of film information, or that a shared result will work in every browser or social app. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from interruptions or third-party services. This does not exclude any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when a revised version is published. If you continue using the Service after a change, the updated Terms apply, subject to applicable law. For questions, contact MovieDraft@gmail.com.
03 / Your information
Privacy Notice
This Notice describes information used to operate Movie Draft. We do not require a player account, email address, phone number or payment details to play. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
Information used by the game
Display names and room data: In online play, your chosen name, room code and role, connection status, selected star, bids, game budget, films drafted and reactions are exchanged as needed to run the room. The host's browser maintains the shared game state and sends it to connected participants. The game does not provide a permanent player profile or saved match history.
Browser session storage: A guest's temporary room role and name are stored in that browser's session storage to assist reconnection. See the Storage Notice.
Shared results: Result images are created in your browser and can contain player names and lineups. Sharing or downloading is your choice. We do not post to Instagram for you.
Advertising clicks: If you open a sponsored image, text area or button, our redirect may record the campaign identifier, which part was clicked and a timestamp. The count is a raw outbound-click count, not a unique-person count. The click record itself does not contain a player name or account identifier.
Messages to us: If you contact us by email, we use your message and contact details to respond and handle the request.
Technical services and recipients
Online rooms use browser-to-browser WebRTC connections and an external PeerJS signaling service. Other room participants, including the host, receive the room information needed for play. WebRTC and service providers may process network information, including connection metadata or IP addresses, to establish connections. Vercel hosts the site and stores ad configuration, media and click-event records. Google Fonts, a JavaScript CDN, poster or image hosts, ad media hosts, advertisers and social platforms may receive requests when their resources or links are used. Their own policies govern their handling of those requests. Hosting and network providers may keep access and security logs even though the game code does not create player accounts.
Purpose, retention and security
We use this information to operate and reconnect online rooms, show results, serve and measure sponsored placements, respond to messages, and keep the site working. Online room state is intended to be temporary and generally disappears when the host session ends. Session storage generally lasts for the browser tab's session, subject to browser behavior. Ad click-event records are retained until deleted; there is currently no automatic deletion schedule in the application code. Hosting and other service-provider logs follow those providers' practices. We take reasonable steps to protect the services we control, but no internet connection or service is perfectly secure.
Young users
The Service is intended for ages 13 and up, not for children under 13. People aged 13–17 should use it with parent or guardian involvement where required by law and should avoid putting personal information in display names. The current game does not verify age or parental permission. A parent or guardian can contact us about a concern at the email below.
Your choices and questions
You can leave an online room, close the tab, clear the site's session storage using your browser settings, avoid sharing a result, or avoid clicking an ad. You can contact MovieDraft@gmail.com with a privacy question or request. Because the game has no accounts and raw ad-click records do not identify players, we may be unable to connect a particular room or click record to you. We will assess requests under applicable law and the information available to us.
Updates
We may update this Notice as the Service changes. We will update the effective date shown above when a new version is published.
04 / Device storage
Cookie & Browser Storage Notice
The current Movie Draft game code uses session storage to remember an online guest's temporary room role and name. This helps the guest rejoin the same room after a connection interruption or reload. It is not an account or permanent player profile.
The game code does not set its own advertising or analytics cookie. We do not claim that your browser receives no cookies or other storage from the hosting, fonts, JavaScript, image, signaling or external advertising services involved in a visit. Those providers may use their own technologies under their own policies.
You can clear the site's browser storage in your browser settings. Doing so may prevent a guest from reclaiming their place in an interrupted room. A room link contains a room code, which is used to connect participants; treat it as an invitation and share it only with intended players.
05 / Sponsored material
Advertising & Third-Party Notice
Movie Draft may display cards clearly labeled Sponsored before play, in a waiting room, during a draft or with results. A card can contain an image, GIF, a video of up to 10 seconds, text and a button. Sponsored content is placed separately from the film poster and bidding controls.
The advertiser is responsible for its own claims, products, services and destination website. A sponsored placement does not automatically mean Movie Draft endorses the advertiser. When you click an ad, you leave Movie Draft for an external site with its own terms and privacy practices.
For campaign reporting, Movie Draft may count raw outbound clicks separately on an ad's image, text and button. These counts are not necessarily unique people, ad impressions, conversions, purchases or proof that the destination loaded. Video play and pause controls are not counted as outbound clicks. Click-event files include a campaign identifier, element type and timestamp; they are kept in ad storage until deleted.
Links to Instagram and other third-party sites are also external. Movie Draft does not receive Instagram comments or count informal votes posted there.
06 / Ownership and requests
Intellectual Property & Rights Notice
Movie Draft's own website code, interface, branding, layout and original graphics are separate from third-party film material. Film titles, posters, stills, photographs, performer names and likenesses, and studio or distributor marks belong to their respective owners. Some films appear with a generated title card when a poster is unavailable.
References to films and performers are used to identify the subject of the game. Unless we expressly say otherwise, Movie Draft is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any performer, studio, distributor, streaming platform or rights holder. We do not claim ownership of their material.
If you believe material on Movie Draft infringes or misuses your rights, email MovieDraft@gmail.com with the page or film involved, your relationship to the rights, a description of the concern, and a way to reach you. We will review the request and may remove or replace material while it is assessed.
Players should share result images responsibly and comply with the rules of any social platform where they post them. Creating a result image does not transfer ownership of third-party film material to the player or to Movie Draft.
